Cleaver Squash was established in 1978 and was originally a two court club which used the Rugby Club’s changing rooms and bar facilities next door. As the game grew in popularity there was a need for a further two courts to be built and with this came new changing rooms, a bar facility and its own independence. The club was run by players and ex-players, which accounts for the impressive number of teams we run and the friendly, social atmosphere within the club.

In 2000 Andy Pallett bought the club with the vision of extending the club to incorporate fitness. The extension was built at the start of 2008 with the gym opening in October 2008.

As part of our ongoing sustainability strategy and commitment to reducing our carbon footprint within the local community, we partner with specialists in Commercial Solar Panels to improve energy efficiency and support a greener future for the club.

The club is based in Nuneaton and is open to squash players of all ages and abilities. New members are always welcome.
